Chiropractic is a primary health care profession registered in a growing number of countries throughout the world.  Chiropractic acknowledges that the body has an innate ability to heal itself. Chiropractors strive to assist the innate healing response by correcting vertebral subluxations. Vertebral subluxations are dysfunctional vertebrae that cause nerve interference by placing pressure on the spinal cord and nerves as they pass through the spine.

The nervous system is vitally important to our wellbeing and performance as it controls and co-ordinates all functions of the body. If the flow of nerve information around the body is disrupted the healing response is compromised.

Chiropractic is a profession that helps the body to heal itself because:

  • When the spine and nerve system work effectively, the body is able to function at its optimal health potential.
  • The human body has an innate ability to heal itself.
