Welcome to the Chiropractic Centre
In the Chiropractic Centre we develop inspired and vibrant
chiropractors and provide outstanding chiropractic care in an exciting
and caring supervised environment. We assist people of all ages to reach
their potential and develop healthier lifestyles. In
support of the College Mission,
we are dedicated to providing quality chiropractic health care to our
patients while providing our interns an enriching Chiropractic Centre
experience.
During the clinical phase of
their professional education, our chiropractic interns will integrate
and apply their classroom knowledge, refine diagnostic and technique
skills and learn to manage a wide variety of patients. They will also
learn the basics of practice management which includes patient
education, interpersonal skills and communication and ethical business
practices. At every stage of their clinical
experience the interns have the benefit of the guidance of experienced
supervisors to guide them in their clinical judgements and other aspects
of patient care.
Chiropractic Centre policies have
been designed to ensure quality patient care and intern education. As
needed, changes are be made to ensure that our goals are continuously
met. All aspects of study at the
New Zealand College of Chiropractic are guided by the central principle
of health that acknowledges the body's self healing capabilities and our
practices in the Chiropractic Centre work within this model. It is the goal of the
Chiropractic Centre team to offer an effective support structure to
facilitate the Chiropractic Centre experience.
