Chiropractic Centre

What to expect

A new patient appointment may be made by phoning the Chiropractic Centre during opening hours on (09) 5262100.

If you know an intern and would like to see them, please give the intern's name to the Chiropractic Assistant when you phone, and they can book a suitable time.

If you do not know an intern then one can be allocated to you.

What does an initial visit involve?

  • A thorough health history
  • A complete physical exam including: neurological, musculoskeletal, and regional exams
  • Full chiropractic spinal evaluation
  • X-rays if clinically indicated

This visit may take up to two hours so make sure you allocate plenty of time when booking your appointment.  You may wish to download a health history form to fill in and bring with you. This can save time at your appointment.

Your history, examination results, and x-rays will be analysed by the intern and discussed thoroughly with a registered chiropractor in order to produce an individualised care plan to suit you.

These findings and your care plan, called your 'Report of Findings', will be explained to you at your second visit and it is at this point that you will be given the opportunity to begin your exciting journey of chiropractic care.
