At what stage of the training do interns start in the Chiropractic Centre?

The interns enter the public Chiropractic Centre in their third year of training, after a very comprehensive clinical exam to ensure their competence.

Why do children need chiropractic care?

The nerve system contributes to the overall growth and development of children. Any interference to this system may result in a lack of function. It is especially crucial to have children checked as this is the time of fastest development.

Are you ACC registered and do I have to go to my GP first?

We are ACC registered for all spinal problems and you do not require a referral.

How long is the training to become a chiropractor?

Is chiropractic care covered by Health Insurance?

Yes but it will depend on your policy and what it covers; you would be best to ring your insurance company first to check your cover.

I’ve got the flu so should I still come in and see my intern?

Yes, there have been several studies to show that chiropractic improves immune function and quality of life and may contribute to a faster improvement in your health.
