Dr David
Russell - Chiropractic Centre Director
David is a 2001 graduate of the New Zealand College
of Chiropractic. After graduating he practised in Melbourne,
Australia. Now he
and his wife Tanja (also a chiropractor) live and run a family and
lifestyle focused wellness chiropractic practice in Pakuranga, Auckland.
David
is the director of the Chiropractic Centre and is passionate
about the evolution of the chiropractic profession and the development
of excellence in the student interns at the College.

Jocelyn
Murphy - Chiropractic Centre Office Manager
Jocelyn joined the
College Chiropractic Centre in
2005 as a part-time CA
and in 2007 was appointed office manager and head CA.
Jocelyn has over twenty years experience as a CA in
private practice and enjoys working with students who are very focused
on becoming the chiropractors of the future. Jocelyn has had a long
involvement with hockey and has represented Auckland and Counties at
Masters
Hockey.

Dr Tanja
Glucina-Russell
Having
worked in some of the most successful practices in Melbourne,
Australia for almost
3 years, Tanja decided to head back to New
Zealand and set up private practice in Pakuranga, Auckland. Tanja
has a busy practice with a pediatric focus: “Chiropractic literally
brings ‘more life’ to people. It is such a joy to have entire families
coming in and particularly seeing children reach new levels of health,
wellness, and development.” Tanja along with her
husband have a young family which doesn't stop her being actively
involved in chiropractic in
New Zealand.
Dr Keith Hammond
Keith was introduced to chiropractic by his
brother Chris who is a practicing chiropractor in California. Keith
enjoyed the
benefits of chiropractic and decided to leave the US Air Force to pursue
a career in chiropractic. He attended the Los Angeles College of
Chiropractic and graduated in 1997. A few years later he and his wife
decided to look outside the United States for a place to
live and practice. After much deliberation they
chose New Zealand.
Keith has his own practice in Auckland’s North Shore and supervises in
the Chiropractic Centre to help give back to the profession that has
given him so much. Dr Todd Keenan
Todd graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2001.
He
continued his education at Life Chiropractic College West in San
Francisco before moving to Melbourne to work as an associate.
Todd was then a locum in Australia
before returning to New Zealand
to start his own practice in Auckland.
Todd was voted Chiropractor of the Month in 2006 by the Chiropractic
Leadership Alliance. Dr
Kimberley McLean
Kimberley graduated from Sherman College in 2000 and practiced in San
Francisco for 4 years. While in California she worked with many sport
teams. These included the San Francisco – Golden Gate Rugby
Team and multiple Gaelic football teams. Kimberley returned to New
Zealand
in 2004 where she is now a partner in a busy Auckland CBD practice.
Dr Paul Needham
Paul graduated from the New Zealand College
of Chiropractic in 2001. He practices in Manurewa
at Auckland South Chiropractic. Paul
focuses on education, correction of vertebral subluxation and stress
reduction, and offers lifetime wellness care to all ages. Paul is an
avid cyclist and has raced at
national level on both road and track
Dr
Cameron Snelling
Cameron
grew up in Northland and Waikato, went to Massey University
in Palmerston North and graduated in 1998 with a BSc majoring in
Physiology. After being introduced to chiropractic by his cousin, he
fell in love with the profession and decided to enrol in the New Zealand
College of Chiropractic
programme in 1998. Graduating in 2002, Cameron has been in the same
practice till the present. Cameron is Activator Methods Chiropractic
Technique (Basic Proficiency) qualified, and practices utilising a wide
variety of chiropractic techniques.
Dr Kirk Stevens
A New Zealand College of
Chiropractic graduate in 2001, Kirk is pleased to be back at the
College,
albeit in a different role. For the past seven years Kirk has run
private practices in Kingsland and Balmoral, providing chiropractic care
to a broad range of people in the community including athletes and the
occasional rockstar. Since
joining the College in 2006 as a Chiropractic Centre supervisor and,
more recently, as a member of the faculty, Kirk has become known to
students and faculty staff alike for his focused yet easy going
approach and for his unwavering belief that the perfect side-postural
technique can be mastered by anyone.
Dr
Trevor Stone
Trevor was born in New Zealand and lived in the United
States for a good part of his early life -
predominantly Kailua,
Hawaii. Trevor was first
introduced to chiropractic in 1967 by his stepfather Dr.
William McDonough, a chiropractor. While growing up in Hawaii, Trevor
worked in Dr.
McDonough's practice. Through observing many people receive positive
and sometimes extraordinary results, Trevor was inspired to become a
chiropractor. Trevor graduated from Life West in 1993 and went into
private practice until 2004 in the United States.
He now practices in Mangere Bridge where
he resides with his wife Lizette and four children. In 2006 Trevor
joined the team of supervisors at the Chiropractic Centre where he
enjoys the enthusiasm of
the interns and its mission to deliver chiropractic education and
quality care.
Dr Jim Yates
Jim is a Life West graduate and practiced in Northern California
until 2000. He
and his family then spent five years sailing the Caribbean
and the Pacific aboard their catamaran “Lady Starlight”. He enjoys
mountain climbing, paragliding and skydiving in his spare time. He
enjoys China
and has spent a lot of time there with his partner Shu Jie. His recent
trip to Beijing has helped open up relations
between the Chiropractors' Association of China and the New Zealand
College of Chiropractic.
He lives in the Auckland CDB and practices part time with Nick
Laurie at City Chiropractic.
Dr Michelle Dickinson
Michelle graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of
Science (Physiology) before embarking on her chiropractic education at
the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. She has been practising since
2003 and owns her own clinic in Kingsland, Auckland. Michelle loves
working with all ages and specialises in Sacro Occipital Technique in
which she had Advanced Certification. Michelle originally ran Diagnostic
Imaging labs for NZCC and has been supervising in the Chiropractic
Centre since 2010.
