History

In 1995, a grant from the NZCA ( New Zealand Chiropractors’ Association) saw the establishment of the NZCA Centennial Library, to mark the 100th anniversary of Chiropractic.  Seeded from a small collection of texts and journals used by NZCA members, the collection grew slowly over the next several years owing to limited funds and space.
The library was first housed in Greys Avenue, but when the then Clinic opened in Mt Eden the collection was split into two, with clinical and pre-clinical areas.

In 1997 the decision was made to automate the Library; a library management system was chosen and computers were acquired for student use.

When the College and Chiropractic Centre moved to Margot St, the Library came together again.
Since 2002 the library collections have grown significantly and in 2005 a new online Catalogue accessible through the College website was made available and more online resources became accessible.

At the end of 2005  the Library, moved again to a site in Greenlane, together with lecture and tutorial facilities and the new Gymnasium.

At the beginning of 2008, the Library opened in the new College with study rooms, a computer area and lots of space.
