Study chiropractic in New Zealand

Chiropractic students at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic
The New Zealand College of Chiropractic is based in Auckland, and our green and modern campus is a friendly and caring environment. Small class sizes allow students to benefit from a lot of contact with our experienced and highly qualified faculty.

Our mission is to graduate the world’s best chiropractors and we do this by following the principles of gratitude, integrity, vision, excellence and love. These principles underpin every aspect of the curriculum and ensure our students graduate with the confidence, knowledge and skills to succeed professionally and personally.

As the only private chiropractic college in Australasia, we’re proud to be accredited by NZQA and by the Council of Chiropractic Education Australasia.

Your chiropractic training

Our on-site Chiropractic Centre and the ‘real-life’ patient contact our students get sets us apart from other institutions. We have the highest practice requirements of any college around the world and our students average around 700 patient visits during the course.
This makes our graduates highly sought after and ready to start practicing as soon as they graduate. They are confident communicators, skilled chiropractors, and have the business knowledge they need to succeed in the marketplace.

Our focus on chiropractic philosophy also makes us unique. We recognise the body’s intelligence and ability to heal itself. This is reflected in our curriculum which focuses equally on the science, philosophy and art of chiropractic. The work of our world-renowned Research Team is incorporated into this curriculum, enabling students to learn from thought leaders in the field of vitalistic chiropractic.First year experiential weekend

Chiropractic College life

As the College only teaches chiropractic, students and faculty know each other well and there is a strong sense of community. There are a wide range of social activities throughout the year including sports tournaments, ski trips, barbecues and quiz nights. A variety of student clubs also meet regularly to debate, discuss and share ideas. Students are represented by the New Zealand Chiropractic Students’ Association who act as a support network for the student body.

Personal development is a really important part of your education. First year students attend an action-packed experiential weekend, and third years join an overseas mission trip to provide chiropractic care in the Pacific Islands.
