Applying for the Bachelor of Chiropractic
It’s great to hear that you are considering a career in chiropractic, and even better to know that you are thinking about the New Zealand College of Chiropractic!
To enrol at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic you need to have completed a preliminary year of basic science study at first year university level (level 5). We don’t offer this preliminary year of study, but you can complete the science papers that you need at almost any university in the world. They are usually covered in the first year of a General Science, Health Science or Exercise and Sport Science degree.
We're also looking for a good level of English, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others. Before applying it's best to check our entry requirements in more detail.

To apply to the New Zealand College of Chiropractic, please email recruitment@nzchiro.co.nz and request either a domestic or international student application form. You can return the application form by email to recruitment@nzchiro.co.nz, by fax to +64 9 526 6788, or by post to New Zealand College of Chiropractic, Admissions Officer, PO Box 113-044, Newmarket, Auckland, New Zealand.
Along with your application form you need to supply the following:
- Academic records and any official examination certifications
- Two passport sized photographs
- Certified copy of passport or birth certificate
- NZ$100 application fee
